October

So much for trying to post once a month! I'm playing some
cool shows the rest of the month with several different artists
including Big River Ransom at Sullivan Hall on Oct 13 with
special guest on Bass Malcolm Bruce (Jack Bruce's son), Oct
20th at St John the Baptist with Micheal Castaldo, and of course
the last Monday of each month at the Red Lion in the Village
for the Songwriters Guild of America song circle. Oh, and a
really cool gig playing with the house band for the TJ Martell
Awards (charity benefit) at the Hilton on the 27th. Last year
I ended up playing with Anita Baker, Gavin DeGraw, Phoebe Snow,
and Big Kenny. Looking forward to see who we'll be playing
with this year. Charlie Daniels is one of the award recipients...
I'm thinking...showdown?

The photo is from this past weekend at Rock The Harvest
Festival out on the North Fork of Long Island (playing with
Big River Ransom).

August Gigs

The summer has been slammin', and I'm thankful and fortunate
to be playing with some great artists, bands and musicians. This
past weekend I had the pleasure of playing with Caroline Doctorow on Friday in Northport NY, Saturday with Big River Ransom in Huntington, NY and Sunday and Monday with Italian singer Micheal Castaldo in Washington DC.

Photos: just to the left is a photo of my wife (Janelle) and I performing at the Songwriters Guild
"Song Circle" at the Red Lion downtown. It's rare for us to get the
opportunity to perform together. Can you tell she's 6 months pregnant?
Also, two photos are from "BargeBash 2010" two weeks ago with Long Islands best rock band Big River Ransom. Playing a concert on a loaded barge in Peconic Bay
out on the East end of Long Island was one of the coolest gigs I've done in a while.
Last is a photo of Caroline Doctorow and the Steamrollers. We were playing at
Greenfest in Mattituck NY.

New Website is LIVE!

farmersmarketmusic.com is now up and running. It's a fairly basic website that has my current gig schedule and who I'm playing with, my song catalog, bio, blog, and links to my Nashville project (The Ranchhands) and my recording studio website String Recordings. I also included links to my affiliations, memberships and endorsements. Thanks to Larry Vollmer at Legendary Media in Connecticut for designing it. Let me know what you think.
